MTS awarded “Top Employer“

MTS Sensor Technologie is one of the 100 most attractive employers among medium-sized enterprises in Germany. This is a result of a countrywide study under the title “Top Job“ realized by St. Gallen University. The Luedenscheid-based manufacturer of magnetostrictive position and level sensors convinces potential candidates with flat hierarchical structures, short decision making processes and an open-minded approach to responsible, self-motivated activities. During a ceremony held at the Duisburg-Nord countryside park on January 30, former German Minister of Economic Affairs Wolfgang Clement presented the sought-after seal of quality.

Central element for the business success of MTS are its employees. Their identification with the targets and values of the company plays an important part. “Our personnel’s sense of responsibility is a warrant and a safeguard for the future of our company. They are proud of their activity”, confirms managing director Joachim Hellwig. Thus within 30 years, a family-owned firm developed into a technology enterprise of international presence, with 150 employees at the Luedenscheid site.

MTS trains apprentices and supports employees in professional development. A trainee and master program for young engineers promotes the training activities for interested newcomers and, in the long run, covers the requirements to recruit qualified staff.
